Baby Shower Ideas & Tips

Baby showers are just so much fun and there are a ton of blogs out there – similar to https://mommyhood101.com/ – to help you find the perfect gift for a baby shower. This has been such an exciting time for my family. As many of you already know, my brother and sister-in-law are expecting their little baby girl Savannah in October. You know Auntie Nikki just had to host the best baby shower ever! With the help of some wonderful ladies we put together a beautiful celebration. I hope you enjoy this blog post along with the video where I share all of my baby shower planning tips and ideas. With a new baby, the parents are going to need all the help they can get, so I hope someone brings a gift of baby songs to help them with those sleepless nights.

I made these popcorn cones out of simple scrapbook paper. You can see the finished results in the video below. It was such a fun addition to the dessert table.

The cake topper just melted my heart! It was made from fondant so it is totally edible. I ordered it from a Etsy store called AnaFeke. She does such an amazing job!

I just love those spandex chair covers. They were so easy to use and no ironing! They were compliments of Tamara Hundley Events in Charlotte, NC. They offer a great variety of items for your party planning needs.

I kept the centrepieces very simple and affordable. The little bears came from the dollar store. I made the table numbers myself and the branches were compliments of my backyard.

My friend Kaye from the YouTube cooking channel CookingWithKaye handled all the baby shower food. She prepared a beautiful menu! Definitely check out her channel for some great recipes.

I made these labels for each of the platters on the food table. We came up with creative names for the baby shower food. For the Chicken Salad Spinach wraps we called them “Wrapped In Savannah”.

I used real glass baby bottles for the coffee condiments such as sugar, creamer etc.

My sister-in-law’s dear friend Ta Hia did such a wonderful job with all of the baby shower games. She actually handmade these beautiful mini diapers to pin on all guest. Whoever had a dirty diaper won a prize!
I also had some time to put together some party favors to say thank you for coming. They included a bit of cake, chocolate bars with personalized candy wrappers, balloons and bracelets. The guests loved them!

    my favorite snack depends on my mood, sometimes it’s fruit, watermelons, cantaloupe, strawberries, Blueberries, sometimes it’s Plain Ruffles potato chips, so it depends on it I want a sweet or salty snack.
