Kitchen Cabinet Organization

Picture

The one thing that I was really excited about with our kitchen renovation was being able to organize my cabinets. I am so happy with our new kitchen cabinets that I just could not wait to get started replacing all our old cutlery, crockery, and appliances. We spent so long picking out the perfect colors, shapes, and designs for all our kitchen units that it made sense that we needed to refresh a few other things as well. This ended up including the appliances around the area. We changed up the sink, redid the surfaces into a beautiful granite, and decided to upgrade from the stove and oven unit that was in the kitchen prior. We even hired some stove repair people to come in to help us install the new unit and make sure all was safe, which let us focus more on the aesthetics and the organization! Not that our cabinets were not already organized but they definitely needed an update. I was able to purge items that I no longer used and replace items that really needed to be retired. It now feels so great having a kitchen that is completely organized to fit my needs. The whole process was incredibly satisfying and I am delighted with the final results. In the video below I take you through all of my kitchen cabinets and drawers to show you my new set-up.

Love all the renovation you and your husband did in the kitchen. My husband is also very helpful. Last year we painted our oak cabinets with beautiful results. This year we would like to replace our boring white tile back splash. Can you please tell me where you purchased your tile back splash. Thank you so much and I will continue to follow your blog.

wow! I just loved this video! It gave me lots of great ideas. My husband is a hiking/biking guy! We had our kitchen remodel about 10 years ago. Moved the washer/dryer into the garage, which freed up a lot of wall space(now cupboards and all slide out shelves underneath.).
One thing that we did, which I love, we tore out an existing L shaped island and all of the existing cabinets….gutted the kitchen. We have a door into the garage. We moved that down 6 feet and enlarged the door so that it fits 36 inch “stuff
